read moreOur first "at home" spaghetti dinner was a HUGE success! We served 680 guests (not counting refills) without having a kitchen available in our studio. We kept up with the crowd thanks to some VERY hard work by our parents and twirlers. Thank you all so much!
We also wish to thank our volunteer entertainers, Win Lander (check out his web site, winlander.com), Courtney Running and Rachel Foehlinger and her friends from the 2009 Ralston High School Show Choir. Thanks also to Beth Brungardt for her hard work in putting together the trivia contest.
Meanwhile, over on the "blue side" things went just as well with the auction, thanks to the countless generous donations from area business and our own families. We're still collecting from some of the high bidders, but our total is going to exceed $5,000, which is as well as we've ever done.
Looks like pop sales netted about $200.00, dessert donations $240.00 and door ticket sales $550.00. As soon as we have all of the ticket sales accounted for, auction funds collected, and bills paid we will post a final accounting of our income and expenses from Saturday night.
Once again, thank you all so very much! -Sue
